Shreveport Police Union, I.U.P.A. Local #275 Members participated in a competitive game of basketball for fun and to attract donors for a blood drive to help save lives.
Shreveport Police Department posted about it on social media the day prior to invite the community to attend, “It’s going down tomorrow! Join us as the Shreveport Police Department basketball team takes on the Shreveport Fire Department in an epic showdown! Tip-off is at 5 PM at Southern Hills Recreational Park.”
Their post continued, “We’ll also be hosting a blood drive at the same location, so come out, support your favorite team, and help save lives! Both SPD and SFD are truly “out for blood”—but it’s all for a great cause. Date: Tomorrow. Time: 5 P.M. Location: Southern Hills Recreational Park. Let’s make it a night to remember! #SPDvsSFD #OutForBlood.”
