Memphis Police Association, I.U.P.A. Local #318 members spent some quality time with kids in the community, teaching them safety tips, positive choices, and how to handle all types of bullying.
Memphis Police Department posted on social media, “Last week, the Coleman Elementary Anti-Bullying Pizza Event, organized by Ella States, taught students how to handle bullying—cyber, physical, and verbal. They learned de-escalation techniques and the difference between “snitching” and “speaking up.” Thanks to Colonel Shabazz, Officer Nailor, Danielle Boothe, and Miss Memphis 2024, Hawa Ceesay, for inspiring students to create a safer school environment!”
They also posted about their YWCA Spring Fling, “Crump Station had a great time at the YWCA Spring Fling, sharing safety tips, education insights, and positive choices with the community. Attendees enjoyed MPD swag, fun trinkets, and great conversations! ”
