Toledo Police Patrolman’s Assn., I.U.P.A. Local #10 members played hockey on the ice at the Huntington Center for charity, beating the firefighters 4 to 1!
The police and firefighters squared off for the 11th year in a row. Puck drop was at 12:05 p.m. and the proceeds went to the Toledo Police Foundation and Toledo Fire Charities. Toledo Police Department posted about the event, “Congratulations to the Toledo Police hockey team for winning the 2025 Battle of the Badges! Final score 4-1. #toledopolice”
The competition was so fierce that an officer injured his collarbone and the goalies squared off over it, but in the end, they raised money for charity and had a great time. A bystander took a video of the game.
