The Lawton Police Officers Assn., I.U.P.A. Local #24 held their second annual LPOA Golf Tournament, allowing them to donate approximately $7,000 to local youth sports organizations in the local community!

KSWO Channel 7 covered the event, “The LPOA Golf Tournament brought area golfers together to raise funds for youth sports across Lawton. They Raised funds to support young athletes in a number of areas like scholarships, uniforms, and covering entry fees for sports.” Read the full article here.

“So, our primary goal with the nonprofit is youth sports. Every bit of the money that we’ve made from the last two tournaments goes directly back to youth sports,” Lawton Police Officers Assn., I.U.P.A. Local #24 President Clay Houseman said. He continued, “We have a lot of business people out here that have given to come out and play we’ve been blessed that they give us a donation each year for this event and they also come out to play in it.”
