Toledo Police Department posted about the occasion, “We’re proud to recognize the Toledo police officers honored at the 56th Annual HERO Awards Banquet for their courage, quick action, and lifesaving efforts.” They then shared the below list.

  • Officers Alex Grau, Edwin Cox, Daniel Wood II, Bobbie Oberle, and Steven Kucinski rescued victims from an exploding vehicle.
  • Officers Stone York, Thomas McCafferty, Justin Volz, and Dean Bakhsh provided lifesaving aid to a gunshot victim.
