Prince William County Police Association, I.U.P.A. Local #5010 Member Officer Coombs was recognized for saving the life of a citizen during a welfare check.
Prince William County Police Department shared about it on social media, “Mr. Classen and Ms. Scott came to our station last week to thank Ofc. Coombs for saving Mr. Classen’s life during a welfare check.”
They continued, “Earlier this year, Ms. Scott requested assistance when she was unable to contact Mr. Classen at his residence, but was certain he was inside. Officer Coombs saw Mr. Classen through a window, made entry into the home and immediately called for rescue due to a health concern.”
They closed with, “We are grateful that Mr. Classen has recovered so well and appreciate him taking the time to acknowledge Officer Coombs.”
