Coalition of Police, I.U.P.A. Local #911 Members conducted a traffic initiative to save lives and make roadways safer!
Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4 shared about it on social media:

• SLOW IT DOWN, IMPERIAL VALLEY! 🚨 Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a targeted traffic initiative in the Imperial Valley Corridor today and let’s just say, speeders had a very bad day. Our deputies were out in full force keeping the community safe by stopping dangerous driving before it could lead to accidents. Whether you’re heading to work, school, or your favorite taco spot…please drive safely and watch your speed!

• 🚨PRECINCT 4 LIVE: DRINK, DRIVE… YOU’RE GOING WITH US! Deputy Turnier with Constable Mark Herman’s Office located a driver showing clear signs of intoxication in the 8100 block of Fairbanks N Houston Rd. After further investigation, the individual was taken into custody for Driving While intoxicated. 💡 Alcohol impairment slows reaction time and affects judgment. If you choose to drink, always plan ahead and arrange a sober ride. It could save your life or someone else’s.

• YOU CAN RUN, YOU CAN FIGHT… BUT YOU STILL GET CUFFED! Deputy Escobar with Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop at 12300 Granite Woods Ct, where the driver was found to have outstanding Harris County warrants. Instead of cooperating… the driver chose poorly and resisted arrest. Deputy Escobar and assisting deputies quickly and safely detained the individual, who was then transported to jail. Here’s your friendly reminder: “Know your status. Check your warrants. Save yourself the ride.” 🚓

• MONDAY NIGHT PATROL! Constable Mark Herman’s Deputies are out this evening making sure everyone arrives home safely as wet roads continue across the area. Watch your neighborhood closely and call us if you see someone damaging or stealing holiday displays. If you see anything suspicious or need assistance, we’re just a phone call away. Stay safe and enjoy the season, Precinct 4! 🎄

• 🛑 MORNING SAFETY CHECK IN PRECINCT 4 🛑Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office are out bright and early watching for stop sign runners near schools and neighborhoods. Help us keep our kids and community safe. 🛑 Come to a full stop. 👀 Stay alert near schools and crossings. 🚌 Be the example for our future drivers.

• 🚨 HAPPENING NOW 🚨Deputy Ayala with Constable Mark Herman’s Office has one suspect in custody for suspected Driving While Intoxicated at 7900 FM 1960 Rd W. Excellent job by Deputy Ayala for keeping our roadways safe. 🍻➡️🚗 = ❌ Use a rideshare, call a friend, or plan ahead, your future self will thank you.

• 🚨 PRECINCT 4 LIVE: DWI BUST ON THE BELTWAY!🚨Deputy Granados with Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop at 7800 W Sam Houston Pkwy N. The driver was detained and later taken into custody for suspected Driving While Intoxicated. Driving while intoxicated endangers everyone on the roadway. Plan a sober ride and report unsafe drivers immediately.

• RECKLESS DRIVER SHUT DOWN ON THE TOLLWAY! Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office just took a reckless driver into custody in the 5200 block of North Sam Houston Tollway West after witnessing dangerous behavior on the roadway. Quick action by our deputies prevented a potential crash and kept our community safe. Great job, PCT4! Keeping the roads safe, one stop at a time.
