Memphis Police Association, I.U.P.A. Local #318 hosted the 41st Hester Sykes Memorial Softball Tournament, which they host annually in memory of Officer Robert Hester and John Sykes, who were killed in the line of duty.
Per the Hester-Sykes Memorial Softball Tournament website, “The Hester-Sykes Memorial Softball Tournament is held every Fall. Law enforcement, firefighters, and military personnel come together to have a fun-filled weekend of softball, food, and fellowship.”
