Lakewood Police Department posted, “Today, several of our own Lakewood Agents climbed Red Rocks for the Colorado 9/11 Stair Climb in honor of the 2,977 brave souls that lost their lives on September 11, 2001. We do this with our brothers and sisters in law enforcement and fire to ensure that their brave sacrifices may never be forgotten.”

Lawton Police Department shared a video of their officers and local firefighters participating in a stair climb that you can view here, “Thank you to Sgt. Bill Maxson with LPD along with members of LFD for participating in the OKC 9/11 Memorial Stair climb this past weekend.”

Port Saint Lucie Police Department posted, “Today we paused to honor and pay respect to those who were affected by 9/11. As the day went on, it truly resonated with us how deeply this day impacts everyone. Whether it was shown through attendance at the MidFlorida Event Center 9/11 Ceremony, creating posters of support from Girl Scout Troop 40147, the Mission BBQ 9/11 Ceremony, or stopping by the PD to give thanks to the officers for their service like the Arc of the Treasure Coast did. We thank you all for joining us in remembering those who were lost.”
