Hammond Police Association, I.U.P.A. Local #345 Members Motor Officers Tucker, Martin, and Payne each placed in the Top 10 at the Gulf Coast Police Motor Officers Championship!

Hammond Police Department shared about it on social media, “Hammond Police Department Motor Officers Earn Top Honors at Gulf Coast Championship! Hammond, LA — The Hammond Police Department is proud to announce that members of its Traffic Division achieved top honors at the Gulf Coast Police Motor Officers Championship held last week in Gonzales.”

They continued, “Motor Officers Tucker, Martin, and Payne each placed in the Top 10 within their respective divisions, competing against elite motor officers from across the country. The event showcased technical skill, precision riding, and advanced motor officer training through a series of challenging courses.”

They continued, “’This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and professionalism of our officers,’ said Edwin J Bergeron Jr, Chief of the Hammond Police Department. ‘We are incredibly proud of Officers Tucker, Martin, and Payne for representing Hammond PD with excellence. The Gulf Coast Police Motor Officers Championship is an annual event that promotes training, safety, and camaraderie among law enforcement motorcycle units from various jurisdictions.’”

They closed with, “The Hammond Police Department congratulates all participants and looks forward to continued success in future competitions.”
