Annual Wreath Laying in D.C. for Police Week

I.U.P.A. Local Prince William County Police Association has a wreath laying ceremony every year at the start of Police Week at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. Every year, they lay wreaths in honor of fallen officers with members of their families.

  • Officer Chris Yung E.O.W. 12-31-2012
  • Officer Ashley Guindon E.O.W. 2-27-2016

This year, attendees included the Prince William County Police Department Chief of Police and Honor Guard as well as family members Paige Yung, Chris Yung’s daughter; Sharon Guindon, Ashley Guindon’s mother; Debra Bshara, Ashley’s aunt; and Richard Pennington, Mike Pennington’s brother. The local and command staff from the department also took family members out to lunch at the Oceanaire Seafood Room afterward.
