Proceeds from the LEORF Golf Classic are used to benefit the families of fallen police officers and officers and their families when an officer has faced disaster, violence, injury, or any other calamity. When an officer has been killed or faced an injury or tragedy, LEORF sends a check to them or their family with expediency, much faster than other types of benefits are available, when it is most critically needed.
