Top Dog Honors at the TSA National Explosives Detection Canine Program

I.U.P.A. Local 6020, The Broward Deputy Sheriff’s Association, Member Deputy Connor Eaton and K9 Ejo received Top Dog Honors at the TSA National Explosives Detection Canine Program!

I.U.P.A. Local 6020 posted the below photos on social media, “Congratulations to BSO’s new explosive detection K9 team, Deputy Connor Eaton and K9 Ejo on receiving ‘Top Dog’ honors at the TSA National Explosives Detection Canine Program. Deputy Connor Eaton traveled to Lackland Airforce Base in San Antonio, Texas, to complete a 12-week training with 13 other law enforcement officers from 10 different agencies nationwide.”

The post continued, “The TSA National Explosives Detection Canine Program trains and deploys TSA-led state and local law enforcement K9 teams to support day-to-day activities that protect the transportation domain. These highly trained explosives detection K9 teams are a reliable resource for detecting explosives and provide a visible deterrent to terrorism directed toward transportation systems.”
