Hobbs Police Department posted about some of their officers, including an I.U.P.A. Local Hobbs Police Association Member, Officer Blanchard. The officers comprise the True Blue BBQ Team and they smoke brisket for charity so well that they won 1st place in two contests recently!
Hobbs Police Department posted the below photos on social media, “Over the weekend, the Hobbs Police Department True Blue BBQ team competed in the Shaun Berry Memorial Dance and Cook-Off fundraiser in Eunice, NM.”
The post continued, “They competed in the 2 Meat Cook-Off and won 1ST PLACE in both Brisket and Ribs!!! All winnings were donated back to the cause! True Blue BBQ cannot wait to get out there again! They will be a Smokin’ on the Plaza in Lovington in June.
