Virginia Beach Police Department Memorial Service

In honor of Police Week and for the Virginia Beach Police Department Memorial Service, Virginia Beach Police Benevolent Association 34 decorated their headquarters to honor fallen officers. They posted on Facebook, “Today, in honor of #PoliceWeek and in preparation for tomorrow’s Virginia Beach PD memorial service, PBA34 adorned our association’s office and headquarters with memorial bunting to honor our fallen. #NeverForget”

The next day, Virginia Beach Police Benevolent Association 34 shared photos of the memorial service, “Very special day today as we honored our fallen police officers and sheriff’s deputies in a memorial service to demonstrate our respect for their sacrifice and let them know that we will #Neverforget. Thank you to Attorney General Jason Miyares for attending and providing a great keynote speech and for his unwavering support. Thank you to Mayor Bobby Dyer for his Proclamation celebrating our officers and for his continued support. Thank you to our friend Mike Imprevento for always supporting us and thank you to Senators Bill DeSteph and Jen Kiggans, Delegate Karen Greenhalgh, and the numerous council members who attended.”
