I.U.P.A. Local Port Orange Police Association members along with firefighters from Port Orange Fire and Rescue, members of Port Orange Professional Firefighters Association, other officers from the Port Orange Police Department, and other firefighters from other fire departments in the area all participated in the 9/11 Stair Climb in remembrance of the heroes and victims lost that day. Those who participated walked the same number of flights of stairs that there were in the twin towers on 9/11.
