I.U.P.A. Local Virginia Beach P.B.A., #34 hosts the Brad Harper Memorial Golf Classic in honor of Sergeant Brad Harper who was an officer with the Virginia Beach Police Department and the U.S. Marine Corps. He was killed on August 3, 2005 in Haditha, Iraq along with 13 of his fellow Marines.
Proceeds from the event this year went to Eyes of Freedom whose website describes them as, “A traveling memorial dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of all who answer our Nation’s call.” More information about the important work they do is available here. Virginia Beach P.B.A., #34 posted the below photos on social media, “A great time as we all joined together for a great cause as we remembered Brad Harper and raised some money for #EyesOfFreedom.”
