Hero Spotlight: Officer Rusten Sheskey

I.U.P.A. Local Kenosha Professional Police Association, #211 Member Officer Rusten Sheskey was recently recognized by the United States Secret Service’s National Computer Forensics Institute (NCFI). He was ranked 35th out of 3,800 examiners across the country for his efforts in 2023.

Kenosha Police Department posted on social media, “Today’s Law Enforcement, relies heavily on digital forensics to prevent, track, and solve crime. Often there are unsung heroes who spend their time processing digital forensic evidence for their respective agency. The Kenosha Police Department is lucky to have a forensic unit that is currently comprised of four officers, one of which is Officer Rusten Sheskey.”

They continued, “We are proud to announce that Officer Sheskey was recently recognized by the United States Secret Service’s National Computer Forensics Institute (NCFI). Officer Sheskey’s hard work and dedication to his job earned him an overall ranking of 35th out of 3,800 examiners across the country for his efforts in 2023. Officer Sheskey spent countless hours examining and processing digital forensic evidence, which has positively impacted Kenosha and its residents.”
